ARTISANAL KNITTERS

Artisanal professionals manufacture every piece in Barcelona.

All our workshops operate vertically, ensuring direct control by the weaver at every stage of the process. This commitment allows us to guarantee excellence in each garment bearing the Carlota Cahis label. 

NATURAL YARNS

We carefully choose the finest materials, including extra-fine merino wool, cashmere, viscose, and organic mercerized cotton blends.

Our yarns are sourced from Italy and are renowned for their quality in the yarn sector.

LOCAL PRODUCTIONS:

We work exclusively with local knitters and actively seek collaborations with small businesses that strive to remain in the industry for many years despite the challenges of competing with larger corporations.

We meticulously manage the entire creative process from our small studio; research, designing, technical sheet development, material and color selection, pattern making, packaging, etc...

By producing in small batches, we ensure that each piece is made with great attention to detail, giving it an exclusive, personal feel. This way, little stock is left after every season, and the remaining is recycled and transformed into a new design.

CARLOTA CAHIS:

Carlota (1992, Barcelona) with the Fashion Design B.A Honors graduate from Westminster at IED Barcelona, ending her studies at Central Saint Martins in London. Carlota launched (2019) her first capsule of artisanal knitwear as a solution for women who want to feel comfortable without sacrificing style.
